How we work

Kiev Shipping Ltd does not own vessels. We work as experienced shipbrokers and charter suitable tonnage through the international freight market.

Our work includes vessel search, freight indications, fixture negotiations, charter-party support, coordination between the involved parties and commercial voyage follow-up from loading to discharge.

GENCON

For general and breakbulk cargo fixtures, GENCON 2022, GENCON 1994 or another charter-party form agreed between the parties may be used, depending on the cargo, vessel, route and fixture requirements.

Vessel Selection

Vessel selection depends on cargo characteristics, quantity, ports, route, laycan and current freight-market availability.

Suitable vessel types may include:

  • multipurpose and general cargo vessels
  • single-deck and tweendeck vessels
  • geared or gearless vessels, depending on port facilities
  • heavy-lift vessels where required
  • Ro-Ro, Lo-Lo or Ro-Lo vessels where commercially suitable

Typical Trading Areas

China, South Korea, Japan and other Asian ports → Europe, Mediterranean, Black Sea, Baltic Sea, Red Sea and Persian Gulf.
